Salame Felino PGI is a typical salami from Parma, and the surrounding area, made from pork stuffed into intestines, with a characteristic elongated and irregular form. This salami has a slightly sweet flavor and a beautiful ruby red color interrupted only by small white spots of minced fat. Cut it into oval-shaped slices as thick as a grain of pepper. Salame is always good, from appetizer to snack. You can enjoy it with everything: a few slivers of Parmigiano Reggiano, Culatello, Coppa di Parma, or Parma Ham. The right wine to accompany this salami is a dry sparkling red.
